Animation

Here I compile all of my animation work, primarily developing my skills using Adobe Illustrator, Procreate and Adobe After Effects

Live TV Week - Advert

Here I showcase some of the illustration and animation work I completed as part of the Live TV week for my Science Communication course. I used procreate to render the initial sketches and Adobe Affect Effects to animate them. Developing the scenes for this was super exciting and I learnt a lot from the tight turnaround of 2 days for the show.

Embryonic Stem Cells

Live TV Week

Here I showcase some of the illustration and animation work I completed as part of the Live TV week for my Science Communication course to make a title sequence for our live segment "Mind the Science". I used procreate to render the initial sketches and Adobe Affect Effects to animate them. Developing the scenes for this was super exciting and I learnt a lot from the tight turnaround of 2 days for the show.

Kapta Marketing/ Demo Video

Here I showcase a commissioned video I produced alongside Greg Holder and Amy Parsons for the Kapta Citizen science data collection platform. I was involved in using After Effects to make the globe assets as well as storyboarding the video and editing the script. In this project we completed many meetings with the client to iteratively polish the video to ensure it successfully balanced the marketing and instructional purposes of the video.

Biochar Social Media Post

Here I present a carousel of illustrations that I made as part of the Social Media Challenge for my Science Communication Master's course. Our aim was to find a new part of sustainable science and use graphical elements to explain the science as well as its impact. I used Adobe Illustrator to make the assets and then animated them on Adobe After Effects (Full animations will be shown in the Animations tab). For this post I researched Biochar and some new work that came out of the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, on the chemical properties of Biochar as a method of carbon capture.
