Videography
Here I compile all my videography work. I primarily use the Canon C200 film camera with the 24mm or 24-100mm lens to capture a range of subjects from workout videos to nature content.

Skomer Island
In June 2025 I visited Skomer Island and made it my mission to get some striking shots of the Puffin colony. At this time of year the Puffins have returned from the open ocean to breed and raise their young in burrows all throughout the Island. The boat ride to the island was spectacular, with science communicator Jim teaching us all about the Puffins with incredible storytelling skills. All footage was shot on the Canon C200 (24-100mm lens) and edited/ colour graded on Adobe Premier Pro

Nature

Filming nature has been an important part of my Science Communication for a Better Planet Master's course. With many of the documentaries and short form videos I have made involving meticulous research and filming of natural subject. First I co-produced the "Hairy Conservationists" 5 minute student Documentary alongside Bee Groom and Sam Griffith, focusing on the conservation work of the Goats in the Gully, filmed on the Canon XF605. In March, I produced the "Looking Closer" short form video, using th Canon C200 film camera's stunning quality to capture common lichens to shed light on these overlooked forms of biodiversity. I filmed and produced Looking Closer alongside Amy Parsons and Bee Groom, acting as head edittor, assistant camera person and lead colour grader.

Natural Forms
Here I showcase a piece, "Natural Forms", I have made as part of my "Make art, be art" collection. This piece was an oppurtunity for me to come out of my comfort zone and explore themes of body image, self acceptance and insecurity. I was inspired to do this piece while I was filming flowers for another piece, realising how I noticed all of the unique details of each organism with such fondness and appreciation. I realised that it was only from a motivation to capture something special and create that this lens allowed me to see the real beauty and complexity in the plants I otherwise ignore. So I set out to capture my own petals, to make a film appreciating my form as it is, a real living entity. I also wanted to integrate in some techniques I mostly see in marketing, using slow motion, grayscale and syncing to delicate music to give the impression of a perfume advertisement, but include all of the parts that these adverts usually deem "too human". Making this piece was cathartic, nerve-wracking and technically rewarding. I hope to capture women in this way again, as I feel that it is important in the desexualisation of our bodies to view them as wholly enough and completely natural.

Fitness

Fitness is a very important part of my life, so I decided to combine it with my love of filmmaking. I meticulously researched gym videography styles, taking into account movement of shots, colour grading and editting style. With this I now produce both short and long form gym content, primarily featuring the talented Poppy Gradwell

My Landlord Hates Me
Here I showcase a piece called "My Landlord Hates Me", capturing visuals over my very overgrown garden on the Canon C200 with the 24-100mm Canon Lens. This piece came to me as our inspection approaches, the burden of our garden led me to assess the "damage" of very infrequent gardening over the winter and spring, to find a garden teeming with life, colour and variety.

Kapta Marketing/ Demo Video
Here I showcase a commissioned video I produced alongside Greg Holder and Amy Parsons for the Kapta Citizen science data collection platform. I was involved in using After Effects to make the globe assets as well as storyboarding the video and editing the script. In this project we completed many meetings with the client to iteratively polish the video to ensure it successfully balanced the marketing and instructional purposes of the video.
